They undertake laboratory analysis and the monitoring of microbial cultures, samples and new drugs using specialist computer software and a range of identification methods and clinical trials. Additionally, microbiologists also develop new pharmaceutical products, vaccines, medicines and compounds such as antiseptics. Educational Qualification:- Post Graduate, Science,,M.Sc In Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology Responsibilities for Microbiologist 1) Develop new pharmaceutical products, vaccines, medicines and compounds such as antiseptics 2) Collecting samples from a variety of locations 3) Provide laboratory services for health departments, for community environmental health programs and for physicians needing information for diagnosis and treatment 4) Record, analyze and interpret data 5) Write research papers, reports, and reviews 6) Ensure data is recorded accurately in accordance with guidelines 7) Remain up to date with scientific and research developments 8) Validate microbiological methods to meet client requirements, as appropriate Qualifications for Microbiologist 1) 3 years of successful analytical laboratory experience 2) Able to knowledgeably and safely handle hazardous chemicals 3) Enthusiastically serve customers and represent our laboratory professionally 4) Deep knowledge in managing a laboratory project and collaborate with a wide variety of technical colleagues 5) Proficiency in numeracy and IT skills 6) Strong oral and written communication skills 7) Superb problem-solving skills 8) Able to work well in a team and to manage your own workload
