The qualifications for sports coaches shall be as follows For International Senior Level Players The educational qualification shall be Intermediate or a Diploma from NIS National Institute of Sports or LNIPE Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education For State National International Junior Level Players The educational qualification shall be a Graduate degree in any stream or a BPEd Bachelor of Physical Education from a recognized university Notes International Level Player A player who has represented the country at the international level in events such as the Olympic Games Commonwealth Games World Cup World Championship held at four year intervals Afro Asian Games etc National Level Player A player who has represented the country in recognized international competitions other than those mentioned above under the international level category NIS LNIPE Diploma A ten month diploma certificate issued by the Sports Authority of India SAI or Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education State Level Player A player who has represented the state in recognized Senior National Championships or National Games Winners of state-level competitions organized by the Department of Youth Welfare and Sports shall also be considered as state-level players International Junior Level Player A player who has represented the country in recognized international competitions at the junior level Preference Clause Preference shall be given to candidates who are residents of Azamgarh district for the selection of outsourced sports coaches
